January : Invitation to a SASCP Sirex Awareness Field Day - Limpopo Region

The South African Sirex Control Programme will be holding a Sirex Awareness Field Day in the Limpopo region Wednesday 7th March, at the KLF's Hanglip Conference Centre.

Attached please find the programme for this event.

  • The programme includes presentations on a number of aspects of Sirex Operational Programme including aspects of monitoring and biological control. 
  • The field component will include a visit to look at Sirex infested trees and a demonstration on inoculation procedures. Please remember to bring along your safety hard hat.


All are welcome to attend.   A map to venue is also attached.
